This is a part time handyman position for 2-3 days a week. Applicant must have his/her own transportation to/from the work site and a valid driver’s license. A minimum of 6 months’ employment experience in the repair/carpentry field personally utilizing the following duties is mandatory.

Pay will be determined by the amount of experience and quality of skill that the applicant possesses. Duties will be basic carpentry, minor electrical and plumbing, some roof repairs but no roof installs, interior and exterior painting, pressure washing, window and door repair and installations, garage door repair and installations, floor repair and installations, rotted wood repair, appliance installation, kitchen and bath remodeling, renovating garages, porches and FROG’s, constructing sheds, porches and additions, minor masonry repairs, and various maintenance duties.

Social skills necessary for the job are the ability to follow directions, to communicate clearly and professionally with co-workers and customers, to adapt easily to changes in work settings and time frames, to work with minimal supervision, and to work quickly without sacrificing proficiency.

Because work is performed in residential settings the applicant must not have any felony convictions and be drug/alcohol free. Failure to pass a random drug test or coming to the job intoxicated will result in immediate dismissal. Loss of driver’s license while employed may result in dismissal.
