Over the last six days, Dominion Power says they have restored over 1 million customers who lost service after storms blew through the area.
They say about 5, 600 Dominion employees, retirees, contractors and utility crews from 18 states and Canada are now working in Northern and Western Virginia to get more customers restored.
Over 1, 000 bucket trucks are employed in the effort. Some crews from Hampton Roads and NC are also assisting.
