Norfolk police say a second Old Dominion University football player has been jailed on rape charges.
Markell Wilkins was arraigned Friday in Norfolk General District Court on two counts of Conspiracy to Commit Rape.
The Commonwealth's Attorney tells NewsChannel 3 this arrest is in connection the arrests of two other men, including fellow teammate Reid Evans.
The men are charged in connection with a rape that happened nearly a month ago.
Right now, Wilkins is in jail, without bond.
