Norfolk police are investigating a fatal shooting near the intersection of Nicholson St and Whitaker Lane.
Police were called to that area just before 1:00am Sunday. Once on scene, they located a victim suffering gunshot wounds.
The victim, who has been identified as Brashawn Darryl-Lee Davis Sr, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
According to police, the victim had been involved in a verbal altercation with one of the suspects, Dewanna Walker. Dewanna contacted here brother Devin, who subsequently shot the victim a short time later.
Dewanna Walker, of the 600 block of Tidewater Dr has been arrested and charged with Murder and Conspiracy to Commit Murder. She is currently in custody in Norfolk City Jail. Her brother, Devin Stephon Walker, of the 3200 block of Perrone Ave in Norfolk is wanted on charges of Murder, Malicious Wounding, Use of a Firearm, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and Unlawful Flight. He remains a fugitive a this time.
