Parts of the Eastern Virginia Medical Center have re-opened after a fire.

It happened back in April at the Fort Norfolk Plaza.

Officials say roofing materials caught fire creating a lot of smoke.

The top part of the building had to be closed and offices were forced to relocate.

On Thursday, the EVMS Sleep Center re-opened.
