Portsmouth, Va.–Police say on August 10, 2012, someone entered the American Cemetery Supplies, located in the 2000 block of Laigh Road and James River Ground Management, located in the 3100 block of Ballard Road and stole several items.

They say about 40 feet of chain fence was cut and damaged.

Once inside, the suspects either pried or cut locks from several large trailers.  One trailer was taken as well as items such as commercial weed eaters, lawn mowers, blowers, and a black, Bob Cat Pro-61 inch, zero-turn, riding lawn mover.

Police say the value of the Bob Cat riding lawn mower is approximately $10,000.

After the items were removed from their original trailers, they were put into the missing trailer, owned by American Cemetery Supplies police say.

A Virginia license plate (135-223TL) was also missing and may have been placed on the stolen trailer.

The owners estimate the damage and loss in excess of $23,000.
