According to a Norfolk police spokeswoman, police responded to a shooting in the 500 block of Military Highway around 2:00am Sunday.
Police arrived to the scene, near the Ramada Inn, and found a male victim suffering a gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to the hospital with critical injuries.
Police have not released information regarding suspects or motives.
The incident is under investigation.
