Beach police are investigating two separate robberies of the Miller Mart located at 1817 London Bridge Road.  They believe the same suspect may have committed both robberies four months apart.

Back in March at 2:45 a.m., an armed suspect entered the store and displayed a weapon. The suspect demanded money from the victim.  After the suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of money he fled the business on foot.  The victim was not injured.

Then on July 29, 2012, at 4:10 a.m., an armed suspect entered the store and walked behind the counter according to police.  The victim was in the back of the store and approached the counter after hearing the door chimes.  The victim saw the suspect behind the counter.  The suspect pointed a weapon at the victim and demanded money.  The suspect was last seen running from the store toward Dam Neck Road.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5’11 to 6’0 and between the ages of 18 and 25.  In both robberies, he wore a cloth bandana that covered his lower face.

Police say the suspect also wore a baseball cap displaying a skull on the front and back.
