New details have emerged about the man charged with killing his ex-girlfriend on the Outer Banks.
Nathan Summerfield will have his first appearance in a North Carolina courtroom on Tuesday.
He was transported to North Carolina early Saturday morning after being caught in Ohio.
According to police, Summerfield and Lynn Jackenheimer were vacationing on the Outer Banks over the July 4th holiday.
Summerfield's brother says when Nathan returned to Ohio, he confessed to killing Jackenheimer.
Her body was found days later on the side of the road.
