Today – a man charged with killing is ex-girlfriend in the Outer Banks will face a Dare County judge for the first time.
Nathan Summerfield is charged with killing Lynn Jackenheimer while they vacationed in the Outer Banks over the Fourth of July weekend.
Summerfield’s brother says when Nathan returned to Ohio, he confessed to killing Jackenheimer.
Her body was found days later on the side of the road.
