NewsChannel 3's Juliet Bickford was the mistress of ceremonies as the Virginia Beach Crime Solvers held a gala to honor the organization's anniversary.
The group recognized volunteers and police coordinators from over the years.
They also celebrated the organization's unique partnership between the police, community and media to take action against crime.
Crime Solvers received several proclamations to honor its 30th anniversary including one from Governor Bob McDonnell and Rep. Scott Rigell.
