Virginia Beach police are investigating a fatal accident at the intersection of Lynnhaven Parkway and Primrose Lane.
According to police spokesman Jimmy Barnes, a Chevy 250 work van was traveling southbound on Lynnhaven Parkway when it crossed the median, crashing into a Nissan Altima, then into a Lexus.
The van then flipped over ejecting and landing on the driver. The driver was killed instantly.
There was one person in the Altima and that person was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
Several people were in the Lexus, and only the driver was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
