Next week Virginia will host Penn State in the Nittany Lions first road game under new head Coach Bill O’ Brien.

O’Brien talked to CBS Sports' James Brown about replacing legendary head Coach Joe Paterno following the Jerry Sandusky sex scandal and what the program means to the school.

"It's very, very important that we realize; Penn State, the Penn State football program, the Penn State Athletic Department, that we realize why we're in the position that we're in, and what steps are we going to take to move the program forward, to move the athletic department forward and to move the University forward. So it's challenging James, but at the same time, life is about challenges. We have to focus on playing good football but we also have to understand that in many ways this is about more than football, “ says O’Brien.
