According to State Police officials, lanes have been closed on I-664 southbound before Pughsville Road, to make room for Nightingale response teams.
A two vehicle accident has been reported with injuries.
NewsChannel 3's Kristen Crowley says the crash involved a tractor trailer that was located on the right shoulder, and a truck hauling a car that was jack knifed blocking two lanes.
Traffic backed up two miles from the crash and all traffic was stopped for over 20 minutes to clear the scene.
