According to the United States Coast Guard, Cmdr. Greg Wisener is scheduled to relieve Cmdr. Michael S. Stewart as the commanding officer of the Coast Guard Cutter Forward.

They will hold a change-of-command ceremony at Base Portsmouth Thursday at 10 a.m.

Stewart was responsible for leading the crew aboard Forward through six patrols, working with 14 countries, totaling 405 days underway.

Wisener is coming from the Coast Guard Cutter Morgenthau, a 378-foot high endurance cutter homeported in Alameda, Calif., where he served as the executive officer.
