Hampton is gearing up for a big weekend.
It's the 30th annual Bay Days.
The festivities kicked off with the Commodore's Gala on Wednesday. NewsChannel 3's Juliet Bickford was also there.
It honors the hundreds of volunteers who make Bay Days possible. The festival celebrates the Chesapeake Bay.
This year's event focuses on local flair with live music, seafood and unique vendors.
The event starts at noon on Friday and lasts through Sunday evening.
