Chesapeake police are searching for a suspect they say has been stealing cash registers from several local businesses.
Between June 17, 2012 and August 19, 2012 three businesses in the South Norfolk area of the city were burglarized, police say.
In all three cases, the suspect broke a window or a glass door, walked in, and stole the cash register.
The suspect appears to have similar characteristics in the surveillance video taken at the time of the thefts.
