Today, the two athletic directors signed an agreement for Norfolk State University and Old Dominion University to play each other over two years.

Norfolk State will host in 2013 while the Monarchs will welcome the Spartans in 2015. This may be the last time these two schools will face each other.

This is a huge win for Norfolk State. Why?  Next year’s game will probably be a sellout and it will be the first in Norfolk State’s history. Dick Price Stadium holds about 30, 000 fans.

The two teams met once before in last year’s playoffs.  Old Dominion knocked off their cross town rival 35 – 18.
