A man who pretended to be a Navy admiral at Oceana is going to jail for two years.

Michael Jacobs from Ohio was sentenced today for taking a stolen SUV across state lines.

This happened in January of 2010 at a Texas dealership when he took the SUV for a test drive and didn't bring it back.

Jacobs was found at Naval Air Station Oceana in Virginia Beach pretending to be a Navy Admiral.

We're told Jacobs stole a uniform and insignia from the Navy Exchange and wore it, passing himself off as an admiral.

He was busted once Sailors noticed the attire wasn't quite correct.
