Lawrence Norfleet, a Virginia Beach registered sex offender accused of following a woman and sexually assaulting her, has been indicted on rape and forcible sodomy charges.
Back in June, police say Norfleet followed a woman riding her bike on South Independence Boulevard.

Norfleet allegedly attacked her when she stopped to take cover from the rain according to police.
They also said he punched her in the face before sexually assaulting her.
