The Virginia Beach Neptune Festival has cancelled this evening’s fireworks at 9:00pm, citing inconsistent weather conditions and the threat of continued fronts.
The rest of tonight’s festival activities including the musical headliners at 9:30 pm will perform, including The Smithereens at 31st Street, DEJA at 24th Street and Old Dominion at the 17th Street stages.
The North American Sand Sculpting Championship will be open until 11 pm.
