High school varsity games for Norfolk Public Schools will be played on Saturdays for the remainder of the 2012 football season, Norfolk Public Schools officials say.
A schedule for the rest of the season is being developed, officials tell NewsChannel 3.
The schedule for the coming weekend’s games will be as follows:
Lake Taylor vs. Maury – at Lake Taylor – 3:30 p.m. Saturday, October 6
Granby vs. Churchland – at ODU’s Powhatan Stadium – 3:30 p.m. Saturday, October 6
Booker T. Washington vs. Norview – at Norview – 3:30 p.m. Saturday, October 6
A Maury/Lake Taylor Junior Varsity game has been rescheduled to Friday at 4 p.m. to accommodate the varsity changes.
Booker T. Washington High School will hold the remainder of its games this season on Saturdays, at noon.
