According to the Virginia Beach Fire Department, there was a two-vehicle accident at N. Lynnhaven Road and Virginia Beach Blvd. at around 12:40 p.m. on Thursday.
One female was transported to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Officials say hydraulic rescue tools had to be used to free the patient.
