Jazz and wine lovers – the WJW is proud to announce the first annual Williamsburg Jazz & Wine Festival.
WJW Festival will be a relaxing weekend of listening and tasting for a good cause with a portion of proceeds to benefit Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters.
Featuring regional jazz artists, select wineries, and delicious food – WJW Festival is the perfect getaway to unwind and indulge.
This October celebrate Virginia Wine Month at WJW. Friday evening, October 12, will kick off the WJW weekend with JAZZ BECAUSE – a benefit reception & silent auction for Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters. This will be a semi-formal affair featuring the Hampton Roads Jazz All-Stars and select wines and gourmet samplings from some of the areas finest restaurants.
Saturday, October 13, the First Annual Williambsburg Jazz & Wine will feature regional jazz artists and select wineries for a festive day filled with great music, delicious food and wine sampling on the historic shores of Lake Matoaka. Featuring two performance stages, a Bistro Market and breathtaking views WJW Festival is the perfect place to indulge and unwind.
On Sunday, October 14 the WJW will close the weekend in historic Williamsburg on D.O.G. Street (Duke of Gloucester) – featuring live jazz and brunch at various restaurants in Merchants Square. Enjoy local jazz trios, impeccable food and shopping.
