In North Carolina - today is the last day to register to vote for the November 6 election for those who plan to cast ballots in person on Election Day.
Voters have until 5 p.m. Friday afternoon to have forms postmarked or delivered.
If voters miss the deadline - the state's one-stop voting period begins. That allows people to both register and vote at early voting locations.
