Newport News Fire Department crews are currently on scene of the 4000 block of Jefferson Avenue, after receiving reports of a business fire.
Police say at 1:29 p.m. Monday, the 911 Center received a call reporting a fire located in a business, with one victim suffering from burns.
Initial crews arrived at 1:33 p.m., and located the victim, requesting Nightingale Air Ambulance to transport the victim to the burn unit at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
