A baby elephant is reunited with his mother in a dramatic video posted by The Amboseli Trust for Elephants.
Three employees from the nonprofit conservation organization coordinated the rescue effort using their vehicles to scare the mother while rescue crews worked to save the calf from a ditch.
Video of the rescue shows the three-month-old pachyderm trumpeting loud distress sounds as two men extract him from the hole using a rope.
After the baby elephant was pulled from the ditch, he immediately ran off to find his mother. The reunion is shown at the end of the video.
