Vacant home burns in Chesapeake

Chesapeake, Va. – A vacant home caught fire in Chesapeake Monday night.

According to Capt. Scott Saunders with the Chesapeake Fire Dept., crews arrived at the scene of the blaze in the 1700 block of Shillelagh Rd. at 6:48pm and found smoke coming from the home.

Crews had the fire under control at 7:37pm.

The home sustained moderate damage.
