According to police, a stabbing was reported in Newport News on Friday night.
They say a stabbing victim approached officers at Regal Cinemas on 100 Regal Way at the Regal Kiln Creek Cinema.
The incident did not occur at the theater police say.
They say the victim walked up to them and asked for help.
The victim has been transported and they say the injuries do not appear to be life-threatening at this time.
