Chesapeake, Va. – An 8-year-old boy died Saturday after apparently drowning in the pool of a hotel in Chesapeake.
Chesapeake police say they responded to a possible drowning at the Sleep Inn on Western Branch Blvd. at 5:45pm on Saturday.
The boy had been swimming in the hotel pool and was transported to Maryview Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The incident is still under investigation by the Chesapeake police.
