Newport News, Va. - A man wearing a fake beard who police believe has struck several other stores robbed the Dollar General on 15425 Warwick Blvd. in Newport News on Sunday.
Police say the man entered the store around 9:32pm, implied to the clerk he had a gun and demanded money. The clerk handed over the money in a bag and the man fled from the store.

Police are searching for a black man, 40-45 years old, around 5'08 and 150-160 lbs. He was wearing a navy blue windbreaker with a hood and a black ball cap with the hood over the cap, light colored blue jeans and black running shoes. He was also wore black gloves with white tips on the fingers and dark sunglasses. He was also wearing Most distinctive the man wore a sandy brown fake beard.
