Beginning Sunday, November 11, 2012, traffic on Princess Anne Road in the vicinity of the Princess Anne/Kempsville Road intersection will be permanently re-routed onto the new Princess Anne Road.
As part of the new traffic pattern, new traffic signals at the intersections of Princess Anne Road /Oakmears Crescent, Princess Anne Road/Kempsville Road (new location) and Princess Anne Road /Kempshire Lane (new emergency signal only) will become operational.
Access to churches and businesses on the west side of the Kempsville Road will be accessed via the old Princess Anne Road (now renamed Singleton Way). Access to businesses on the east side of Kempsville Road will be accessed by the Kempshire Lane.
