The Bridges Division will continue the biannual bridge safety inspection on the Route 168 Bypass Bridge over the Chesapeake and Albemarle Canal. Crews will also install a new guardrail at bridge approaches.
The closure begins on Monday, November 26, 2012 and lasts until Wednesday, November 28, 2012, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. each day. One lane will be closed for this work. Motorists should plan ahead and be alert to work crews, equipment in the area, and possible delays.
