A University of Virginia student has died after a boating accident, officials tell NewsChannel 3.
It happened in the Caribbean country of Dominica.
Casey Schulman, a senior at UVA was participating in a Semester at Sea program, but the boating trip was not part of the program's curriculum.
The university held a service for her on Sunday.
