NewsChannel 3’s cameras were on the scene capturing the moments after a police pursuit ended in one Hampton woman's front yard.

It was a wild ride that ended just a little too close to Lisa Graham’s home.

“I didn't expect to come home to this,” she says.

State Police say the driver of a Chevy suburban they were trying to stop refused and led them on a chase that ended in the 600 block of Aberdeen Road.

“My main concern was when I got a phone call that State Troopers were all in my yard that my daughter was OK because she just got out of school,” says Graham.

Police say the man ended up crashing the SUV.

“As he ran through my yard, he tried to jump over the fence,  and when he tried to jump over the fence the first time the gun fell out of his pocket and hit him in his rear end buttocks side,” says Graham.
