They have identified the victim as Illinois D. Johnson.

Norfolk, Va. - Norfolk police are now investigating after they say a male victim was found dead early Tuesday morning.
Police received reports of a shooting at 6:18 a.m. They responded to the 400 block of East Bute Street, where they say the male victim was found suffering from gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead on the scene at 6:24 a.m.
