Suffolk crews put out fire at home on Old Myrtle Road

Posted

Suffolk fire crews put out a fire early Monday morning in the 5800 block of Old Myrtle Road.

Crews say calls came in at 1:59 a.m.

When units first arrived, they said they found heavy smoke showing from a single story brick residential and all occupants outside.

Smoke was coming from the eaves and fire was found in the garage area, extending into the attic. There were no reported injuries, and the fire was extinguished within 30 minutes.

Officials are still investigating.
