The Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office says Christopher Johnson actually walked into a Strasburg Elementary School carrying a 2 x 4 with the words "high powered rifle" written on it.
The name of the Central Virginia school is Sandy Hook.
Police say Johnson apparently was trying to prove a point about school security.
It's not clear if he has a child who goes there.
According to our sister station WTVR in Richmond, that 33-year-old man is locked up on disorderly conduct charges.
