A former substitute teacher accused of having sex with a student plead no contest to reduced charges in Chesterfield Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court Thursday morning, according to WTVR.
23-year-old Anna Walters was originally charged with felonies, however those charges were reduced to misdemeanors after the Commonwealth’s Attorneys Office consulted with her victim.
Walters was convicted of sexual battery and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Police said they started to investigate Walters after another student posted on Twitter that he had a sexual relationship with her and posted sexually explicit photos he claimed Walters sent to him.
