Chesapeake, Va. - A 59-year-old Portsmouth man was hospitalized after police say he crashed his Ford pick-up truck into a Chesapeake home in the 1000 block of Geneva Avenue Friday night.
Crews responded to the accident at around 6:50 p.m.
They say the residents inside the home were not hurt.
Police say the driver, Joseph Weaser, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Officials are still investigating the cause of the accident.
The home sustained minor damages and a fire hydrant was also damaged in the accident.
