Take a look at the return of an automotive legend.

General Motors is bringing back the “Stingray” name for its 2014 Chevrolet Corvette sports car.

GM showed off the new ‘Vette Sunday in Detroit.

The “Stingray” series of Corvettes were sold between 1963 and 1976, and the name returns with a lot of other changes in the next model year.

It will be the most-powerful base Corvette ever, with a 450-horsepower, 6.2 liter V-8 engine.

But G-M says all that power will also be super-efficient, exceeding the 26-miles-per-gallon performance of current Vettes.

The sleek sports car also features many design changes inside and out, including new tail lights and a drastically different interior.

No word on a price tag yet, but GM says the new Corvette goes on sale this fall.
