Man wanted for stealing GPS unit in Virginia Beach

vbVirginia Beach, Va. – A man is wanted for stealing a GPS unit from a Walmart store in Virginia Beach, police say.

On December 30, 2012, police say a black male suspect entered the Phoenix Drive Walmart store located in Virginia Beach and stole a GPS unit.

The suspect drove away in a light blue or silver ‘hatchback type’ vehicle. He was wearing light blue jeans and a black coat. Police are asking anyone who recognizes the suspect to notify the First Precinct Property Crimes Unit at 757-385-2800 or the Virginia Beach Crime Solvers Office at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP (562-5887).

Callers remain anonymous, and are eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $1,000 if their information leads to an arrest.
