Two Bloods gang members wanted for Camden County home invasion

Camden County, N.C. – Camden County deputies are searching for three people in connection with a home invasion on Saturday, including two Bloods gang members.

The Camden County Sheriffs’ Office says it received a call around 10:22pm Sunday about a robbery in the 100 block of Woodland Way in Camden Crossing.

According to deputies, three black men entered the home, one of whom was armed with a handgun. The resident was pistol-whipped in the head and suffered head injuries. The three men ransacked the residence and left with cash, jewelry and computers worth an estimated  $19,000.

The victim was transported to Albemarle Hospital by Pasquotank/Camden EMS where he was treated and released for his head injury.

Deputies have obtained warrants for 32-year-old Demetrius Bowser of 138 Sutton Drive, Elizabeth City and 22-year-old Jonathan Jermaine Peek of 108 Queen Street, Elizabeth City.

Both are known BLOOD gang members and should be considered armed and dangerous. Both are charged with Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, Assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury and First degree Burglary. The third unknown black male is also being sought in this case.

Also arrested in the investigation was Tyche Jenell Blackwell of 605 W Cypress Street, Elizabeth City NC for Conspiracy to commit armed robbery. Blackwell received a $25,000 bond.
