Amy Poehler on Red Carpet at SAG Awards

Some chuckled when Tina Fey and Amy Poehler gave Taylor Swift a ribbing at the Golden Globes, but it seems their wisecrack wasn’t that funny to the country singer.

In January, the comedic hosting duo called out the actively dating Swift, telling her to “stay away” from Michael J. Fox’s son. “She needs some me time, to learn about herself,” Fey said at the time.

When Vanity Fair brought up Fey and Poehler’s quip with Swift, the 23-year-old seemed to suggest that Fey and Poehler are going to roast for their comedy.

“You know, Katie Couric is one of my favorite people,” Swift told the magazine while chatting about mean girls and the Globes joke. “Because she said to me she had heard a quote that she loved, that said, ‘There’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help other women.'”

Fey and Poehler have both responded to Swift’s statement, and Poehler actually agrees with Swift. Well, kind of.

“I feel bad if she was upset. I am a feminist, and she is a young and talented girl,” the “Parks & Recreation” star told The Hollywood Reporter. “That being said, I do agree I am going to hell. But for other reasons. Mostly boring tax stuff.”

Fey, meanwhile, emphasized that they really were kidding when they put the spotlight on Swift’s turbulent love life.

“I did not see that one coming,” Fey told “Entertainment Tonight.” “It was a joke. It was a lighthearted joke.”

Besides, she added, “If anyone was going to get mad at us, I thought it would be James Cameron.”
