Darragh Copley is live at the Midtown Tunnel. So far, so good this morning. Crews are watching flood waters and wind gusts at the tunnel.
Elizabeth River Crossings (ERC) crews will not have to lower the Midtown Tunnel tide gate and the tunnel will remain open in both directions.
Crews remained on standby overnight, monitoring tide levels at the Midtown Tunnel to prevent its flooding.
