Fort Eustis, Va. – Veterans looking for employment will have the opportunity to find dozens of employers during a military job fair on Thursday.
The Army Career and Alumni Program, Army Community Service, and the Virginia Employment Commission, is sponsoring the Joint Base Langley-Eustis job fair to be held at the Fort Eustis Club, 2123 Pershing Avenue, on Thursday, March 21, from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
More than 40 employers will be participating in the job fair to include Newport News Shipbuilding, EPES Transport Systems, Norfolk Southern Corporation, Department of Justice, Oceaneering International, Dominion, Tapestry Solutions, AMSEC LLC, Computer Science Corporation, Patterson Utility Drilling Co, URS Corporation, US Patent Trademark Office, Riverside Health System, Bradley-Morris, US Secret Service and more.
The goal is to foster employment opportunities for all to include Active Duty, Retired, Reservist, National Guard, and Military Spouses.
With Virginia unemployment rate at 5.5 percent and the national unemployment rate at 7.9, and among veterans it’s even higher, it is the goal of the committee to provide our military veterans, who have served their country with distinction, and their family members with an opportunity to find meaningful employment.

Job fair attendees should come dressed for success and should have several copies of their resumes.
Employers are encouraged to conduct on-site interviews – be prepared. Minor children are not allowed.
To enter Fort Eustis, those with DOD identification may proceed through gate 1 and present their identification.
However, those without DOD identification must process through the visitor line to the right to obtain a pass.
Driver’s license, valid vehicle registration, safety inspection, and proof of insurance are required to obtain a pass.
All vehicles are subject to inspection. Passengers are required to present a pictured identification.
Due to construction on Eustis Blvd, please allow additional time to enter the installation.
