Norfolk, Va. - Old Dominion University has released a prototype of their new helmet logo. It features their lion formed into the shape of Virginia.
There's no word yet if the Monarchs will have the new logos as they make the jump up to the football bowl subdivision.
Old Dominion's season opener is on August 31st in Greenville, NC as they take on the ECU Pirates.
