Hampton, Va. - A man has died in an industrial accident in Hampton.
It happened at Craft Machine Works, located in the 2100 block of 48th Street in Hampton. The call was received at 9:12 a.m. Wednesday, March 27.
Police officers arrived on the scene and found a 54-year-old Newport News man that had suffered what appeared to be a work related injury.
Hampton Fire and Rescue Division crews arrived on scene and pronounced the victim deceased.
Police say at this time, the incident does not appear criminal in nature.
As a result, officials tell NewsChannel 3 the State Department of Labor will be conducting the follow up investigation.
