Newport News, Va. – Newport News firefighters were called to a fire on Jonquil Lane early Friday morning.
Units arrived to heavy fire and smoke coming from the garage and the roof.
One person escaped the house prior to units arriving.
The cause has not yet been determined, and the house has been condemned. There were no injuries reported.
