Virginia Beach, Va. - Tomorrow is the anniversary of the Virginia Beach jet crash.

On April 6th of last year, a Navy jet fell from the sky and into the Mayfair Mews Apartment Complex.

First responders and people near the scene didn't think twice about taking action and making sure everyone was okay.

One man who jumped into action that day was Pat Kavanaugh.

He's a life member of the Beach rescue squad and ran outside to help when he heard the crash.

He says that day changed his life.
